I was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. 
 
I attended Dental School at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed my pediatric dental residency at the University of Michigan. I am a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
 
My wife, Andrea, and I have two wonderful children who love to run around and make life interesting.
 
My favorite cartoon character is Nemo, because even though challenges can be difficult, he works through them.
