Dr. Bailey is an alumnus of Canyon High School and West Texas State University.
 
After serving as a Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve for five years, he earned his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, later graduating from the  University of Missouri with his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Certificate.
 
He was also a faculty member in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Missouri Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, serving as an assistant professor for three years. 
 
Dr. Bailey became Board Certified in 2000 and recertified with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 2010.
